America's Urban CAmpus Strategic Partnerships
America's Urban Campus works with the City of Chicago and a number of civic organizations and associations in implementing its initiatives. These organizations have been designated as strategic partners, providing advice, undertaking joint projects and utilizing the information provided by America's Urban Campus to further their own programs. Examples include:
- Partnered with the City of Chicago on documenting talent from Chicago universities for the Amazon HQ2 bid
- Participated in the review of the Council on Global Affairs Study of Chicago's Global Strategy
- Helping the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce implement the Chicago Opportunity Exchange, matching college talent to job openings
- Developed interactive maps of the location of Chicago's universities for Choose Chicago
- Co-sponsored the 2018 and 2019 Campus meets Community Conferences with Illinois Campus Compact
- Partnered with the Illinois Technology Association on a series of workshops between tech company execs and university computer science faculty
- Assisted World Business Chicago with pitches to companies considering re-location to Chicago
