AUC participates in the Chicago community Trust's On the Table

On May 14, 2019, nine members of America's Urban Campus Board and partners participated in a two hour luncheon discussion on the critical issues facing Chicago's new Mayor, Lori Lightfoot.  Using the Trust's template, they drafted a memo to the Mayor, focusing on the role of universities in supporting economic vitality and community building in the neighboroods.
Participants include from left to right:  Julie Emms, DePaul University; Jeanne Arens, Illinois Institute of Technology; Fran Casey, DePaul University; Camille Williamson, Adler University; Brisbane Rouzan, National Louis University; Natalie Furlett, Illinois Campus Compact; David Baker, America's Urban Campus; Robye Scott, World Business Chicago; and Jenifer Clark, Loyola University Chicago.
